Feeling dreadful, (we manage to get 2 hours sleep) we bid farewel to Cartagena and get the bus to Santa Marta, a seaside resort on the Carribean coast. Thanks to a car accident the 3 1/2 hour bus ride turns into 5 and Maj spends most of the ride with her head down the toilet.
we find a budget accomodation "hostel del sol" its a bit like a bunker ie no windows and mattress is on a solid concrete base but it has a great bathroom, air con and cable TV so no too shabby.
We head out for a dirty burger and a mixed grill, get ripped off but we are too tired to care so head to bed.
