Sunday, 30 August
Spend our last day wandering the streets of Merida and reflecting on our time in Mexico.
Sunday is big family day in Mexico - in the plaza there is lots of dancing and activities. We watch traditional dancers as they entertain the masses - geisha looking girls dancing with trays on their heads that contain a bottle of beer and four glasses of water (we kid you not!)
All this watching sure feels like hard work so we head to a bar for our final Mexican drinks. Adrian is then offered the biggest Cuban Cohiba cigars you have seen for a mere 10 pounds - though tempted he sticks to the mantra "if its too good to be true, it probably is"
