We have a delicious breakfast cooked by the owner of the Lizard King resort and spend the rest of the day checking out the town and researching other accomodation options.
Late in the afternoon we start to think we have exhausted all options (within our price range) when we come across Casa Verde. It is a gorgeous resort complex, complete with a swimming pool that is straight out of Fantasy Island. Our room has a wicked set up with private terrace, two hammocks and a table with chairs out the front, complete with original artwork. Our room itself is huge and has a lovely bathroom area - we both agree this is where we will be spending the next 6 nights.
