Cafe leon rocks......

Tuesday, 11 August continued ....

A day at the beach sure gives you beer thirst so after the bus ticket purchasing we head to the local next door and grab a 8 pack of beers before dinner.

We are hungry, earlier in the day Ade spotted a cafe called La Cueva del Leon, and the food looked fantastic, so we head along to sample the culinary delights. The boy is a genius it was delicious. We both had king prawns (very fresh) in a spicy mango sauce, with steamed rice and refired beans. Leaving us wanting more e decide to sample the baked chillies stuffedwith cheese - heavenly.

Drinks wise - I decided to sample the Chilean white wine on offer - let´s just say I didn´t have another one. Ade opted for the safer option the local beer - Pacifico.

I tried for the first time the mexican version of a bloody mary but made with lager it´s called Michelada and it´s made with lager, lime juice, salt, chili and worcester sauce (or English sauce as the Mexicans call it) and loads of ice. It is so delicious and will definitely be a staple drink in the Lee household for years to come.
