A fat, bald American guy working in the hotel (fU%&%$ annoying) recommends we take a water taxi to Stone Island as it has a better beach.
He is full of sh(t but we decide to check it out. Dodging the jaggernauts we get to the water taxi and 10 mins later we are at the island.
First impressions: beach stretches for miles with palm trees but on closer look its basically dirty sand with cans and cra&p everywhere - not exactly azure blue waters as described.
Picture below - and you will think mmmm not bad - looks good. It is defintely a case of "nice from afar but far from nice!"
