A few hours into our day at Las Gatas, Ade spots a guy carrying a large headless tuna. The guy (whose name by the way is Jose), his wife (Karla) and their beautiful four children end up sitting next to us. After initial small talk, they kindly offer for us to join them for lunch (the restaurant is cooking their fresh fish), Adrian not being the shy retiring type and a food lover jumps at the opportunity to knosh down "yes I would love it". We end up spending the rest of the day with them, drinking beers, exchanging stories on wine, food, and life.

Jose and Karla are both such fun company and very genuine people - it was one of those days that you just wanted to go on. The end did come very quickly - too quickly in fact as we missed our last boat back to the mainland so Jose and Karla kindly gave us a ride back on their private boat.
We have exchanged details and we will definitely keep in touch. Adios for now amigos!
